  • Responsible for development and maintenance of embedded software/firmware for Sonar Systems.
  • Development of hardware and firmware for microcontroller and FPGA based embedded systems.
  • Work in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrate passion building high quality hardware and software, solving problems and facing new challenges.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor of Science in an Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline (Software Engineering, etc.).
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience developing hardware and software.
  • The qualified candidate must have experience with designing schematics and PCB layout, preferably in Altium.
  • The qualified candidate should have experience with embedded software / firmware programming.
  • FPGA development using VHDL. Experience with Altera FPGA’s a plus
  • Strong Mathematic skills a plus.
  • Experience with sonar applications and marine surveying industry a plus.
  • A hands-on problem solver with excellent hardware/software design and implementation skills.
  • Self-starter, flexible attitude, and ability to work independently in a small multi-discipline engineering group a must.
